The Rotary Club of Uttorayon Believers held an E-Waste Collection Drive in February as part of our ongoing project to collect electronic waste in order to promote responsible disposal of electronic waste .In the presence of Secretary Rtn. Anju Sarda, the program was expertly run by our charter president and this year 25-26 AG Rtn. Kiran Kayan. This time, we gathered a sizable amount of e-waste from the refrigerator, washing machine, and heater etc.The collected e-waste was sent to our AG Rtn.Kiran Kayan warehouse, from which we obtain green certificates every year by sending it to an e-waste licensing company. Rtn Kiran Kayan will oversee this project on a regular basis. We are proud to have continued it for the past four years.
