The Rotary Club of Siliguri Uttorayon Believers successfully organized a Thrift Mela on 10th September 2025 at the Yoga Shed, Uttorayon Township. The event was held from 11 AM to 8 PM and received overwhelming participation from the community.The primary aim of the Thrift Mela was to reach out to the underprivileged sections of society by offering essential items such as clothes, household goods, and accessories at minimal and affordable prices. This initiative not only supported the needy but also emphasized the values of recycling, reusing, and thereby promoting sustainability. The stalls were beautifully arranged, showcasing a wide variety of unused and used items that attracted visitors throughout the day. Members of the Rotary Club worked tirelessly to ensure smooth execution, right from collection and categorization of items to sales and distribution.The program was inaugurated by Asst.Governor Rtn.Kiran Kayan in presence of President Rtn.Rosy Prasad Secretary Rtn.Anju Sarda.
