On 8th November 2025, Rotary Club of Uttorayon Believers inaugurated the Tajomaya Sewing Centre. The centre was inaugurated by DG Rtn. Kameshwar Singh Elangbam along with AG Rtn. Kiran Kayan.The programme was organised by our PC Rtn. Sangeeta Reddy, and was graced by the presence of our esteemed club members. The event was smoothly conducted under the leadership of AG Rtn. Kiran Kayan, Past President Rtn. Sunita ,President Rtn. Rosy and Secretary Rtn. Anju. As part of this initiative, three sewing machines were donated — sponsored by Rtn. Sangeeta Reddy, Rtn. Suman Maheshwari, and Rtn. Asha Gupta. we also provided clothes and essential tailoring accessories to support the trainees as they begin their journey. This project aims to empower women with skills, confidence, and livelihood opportunities — a strong step toward building self-reliant communities.
